Huckabee Says He’s ‘Going the Distance,’ Will Not Quit
Huckabee will go the distance, but if Romney can win 250 to 350 of the total 1069 total delegates available on Tuesday, he will have between 330 and 430 to McCain's 700 to 800. Huckabee may manage to reach 150 delegates at best on that day.
If this scenario unfolds Romney will become the obvious contender to McCain. Huckabee's vote would likely fall off dramatically in the later states. Huckabee may remain in the race but if Romney wins around 250 delegates on Tuesday, Huckabee will lose much of his support.
