Final Ref's Average for Florida - Romney +1.9%
According to the final Ref's Average for Florida, Romney leads McCain by 1.9%. Romney has held a small lead for the last three days. The lead falls well within the average's margin of error of 4.0%, Turnout will tell the tale.
Because of the closeness of the race one can reasonably conclude that regardless of who wins the election, both McCain and Romney will remain competitive for Super Tuesday on February 5th.
If one candidate wins by a larger than expected margin, however, such as by five points or more, that candidate might very well be on his way to the nomination. Return to polticalref.com for live election results.
