McCain says in relation to Hamas, "sooner or later we're going to have to deal with them in one way or another."  Does this equal an endorsement of talks with no preconditions, as Obama wants?

Gaining Seats, Democrats Find Their House Ideologically Divided

Obama Has the Upper Hand. But McCain Can Still Take Him.

Clinton Takes on 'Those People on TV' - The liberal media, particularly MSNBC, has been very hard on Clinton. One wonders if this treatment of her has damaged Obama's chances to unite the Democratic Party. Unfortunately for Obama, MSNBC and much of the media, are viewed by many as a part of his campaign. They have been so universally in the tank for Obama that many Clinton backers will no doubt blame them for Hillary's likely failure to win the nomination.

Video: McCain advisor explains McCain's "deal with" Hamas comment

Liberal Media calls McCain a hypocrite without foundation: Hypocrisy on Hamas - It is an all too common liberal media trick.  They take comments out of context and distort their meaning.  McCain said that we should "deal with" Hamas in one way or another. We dealt with Sadam Hussein.  We also deal with Prime Minister Gordon Brown in the UK.  The phrase "deal with" incorporates a wide range of potential meaning.  We already communicate with the government of Iran.  Having open talks with no preconditions, as Obama wants to do, is something very different than what we are doing now.  It confers legitimacy on Iran who is a state sponsor of terror.  As I mentioned yesterday, Bush's attack on Obama indicated the beginning of the general election campaign.  The liberal elements of the media have begun their general election campaign as well.  You can expect frequent distortions of the truth all designed to defend Obama and hurt McCain.
