NOT SO CLEVER ATTEMPT AT HUMORCropped and modified from the image originally posted at http://www.flickr.com/photos/trumanlo/230587068/. Original image uploaded on flickr.com by user trumanlo. Maybe Brian should guard against his tendency to tell the truth in the future, at least until NBC has had a chance to review his version of the truth.

THE ABSURD EDUCATION DEMAGUOGERY CONTINUESPresidential candidate John Edwards, 3. September 2007 in Pittsburgh, PA.. September 03, 2007 at 11:23. Authors: Joey Gannon from Pittsburgh, PA . PERSONAL FOUL: John Edwards continued on his never-ending two Americas theme today when he pointed out that there are two public school systems in America, one that fails low-income students and another for wealthy students. Edwards Talks Education in Iowa, Amy Lorentzen, AP. Of course it's not true. There are thousands of public school systems, some good and some not so good.  Most fall in the middle of the pack. Edwards creates a dichotomy of two to play on the doubts of those parents whose kids may be enrolled in a decent school, but maybe not one that receives the highest of praise. Edwards is not alone on this issue in this election cycle. Pandering to teachers Bill Richardson has called for a minimum wage of $40,000.00 for them. The Democrats continue to play class warfare whenever the opportunity arises. They play on fears and insecurity. They ignore the remarkable achievements of America's public education system so they can squeeze votes out of those who are looking for someone to hate. Disgraceful.

SOME RARE COMMON SENSE FROM DEMSDianne Feinstein. This United States Congress image is in the public domain. This may be because it is an official Congressional portrait, because it was taken by an official employee of the Congress, or because it has been released into the public domain and posted on the official websites of a member of Congress. As a work of the U.S. federal government, the image is in the public domain.U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer. This work is in the public domain in the United States because it is a work of the United States Federal Government under the terms of Title 17, Chapter 1, Section 105 of the US Code. See Copyright. FIRST DOWN: Senators Diane Feinstein and Chuck Schumer agreed to pass AG nominee Mukasey out of the Senate Judiciary committee. Considering the current mood of the Democratic caucus and their supporters, this act demonstrates some rare common sense from two Democrats anyway.  This country needs an Attorney General and this act of party disloyalty helps Bush and the American people.  It's rare, but Feinstein and Schumer did the right thing.

NBC Censors YouTube: Unguarded Brian Williams Moment too Truthful

Brian Williams appeared on Saturday Night Live this week.  He uttered a line that NBC Universal did not approve of.  He said that the media has already decided to back Hillary Clinton.  A video of the statement appeared on YouTube.com but has been removed "due to a copyright claim by NBC Universal."  NBC made no other such claims regarding other videos from the same show.  Clearly NBC fears the implications of such a video floating about in cyberspace.  This selective copyright claim appears to be a form of censorship.  If NBC had made a practice of refusing to allow any such video to appear on YouTube this would not be conspicuous. The freedom YouTube provides to post links and embed video proved too much for this revealing statement that simply was too close to the truth.  From what we could find the clip is also not available on NBC's website.

Musharraf's TV address
