NBC Censors YouTube: Unguarded Brian Williams Moment too Truthful
Brian Williams appeared on Saturday Night Live this week. He uttered a line that NBC Universal did not approve of. He said that the media has already decided to back Hillary Clinton. A video of the statement appeared on YouTube.com but has been removed "due to a copyright claim by NBC Universal." NBC made no other such claims regarding other videos from the same show. Clearly NBC fears the implications of such a video floating about in cyberspace. This selective copyright claim appears to be a form of censorship. If NBC had made a practice of refusing to allow any such video to appear on YouTube this would not be conspicuous. The freedom YouTube provides to post links and embed video proved too much for this revealing statement that simply was too close to the truth. From what we could find the clip is also not available on NBC's website.
