The ABC News/Washington Post Poll Has a Bad Sample
The ABC News/Washington Post Poll
It was refreshing to find that the Washington Post admits that it oversamples Democrats. It was unfortunate to see that they actually think this is what voter turnout will look like. Democrats will not outnumber Republicans by seven percent. Such a turnout model assumes that anywhere from eight to twelve million more Democrats than Republicans will vote on election day.
This is not a credible scenario. If Obama had such a turnout and won by the margin this poll shows, he would win over forty states. The Washington Post and ABC News are consistently distorting their poll numbers to make it look like Obama is farther ahead than he is. Remember that the next time you read an article or watch a report from either news source. They masquerade biased propaganda as objective reporting.
