Ref's Poll Notes

While the first poll taken completely after the Obama "clinging to guns and religion" comment showed a twenty-point lead for Clinton, other polls show a smaller bounce or no bounce at all.  Obama's comments probably ended any chance of a Pennsylvania upset, but they have not sunk his candidacy for the nomination.

Video - OK, this is just for fun.  Did Obama flip off Hillary?  Watch the video and you decide. - When you look at the way Obama engages the audience after the alleged scratching face/flip off maneuver that we have all seen before, usually in high school, you can reasonably conclude that Obama might have flipped her off.  Ultimately, who cares, but it is funny to consider.

The Early Word: Pennsylvania in Play — Now and in November - When you look at the big battleground states, you can't help but notice that McCain does very well in traditionally Democratic states, particularly against Obama.  Pennsylvania is a perfect example.

Road Map to Defeat- Ultra-liberal Bob Herbert of the New York Times describes a very rosy political environment for Democrats, in fact far too rosy, but points out that the Dems are doing everything they can to lose.  Might it be that the old Democratic interest group model has collapsed as every appearance before each group (including the San Francisco liberal elite) gets broadcast worldwide on TV, radio and Internet?
